About Bus

What started as a what-if became a dream realized for Susan Forrest-Reynolds, when she purchased a 1991 Bluebird school bus. 

With a desire to transcend the often stagnating sprawl of Los Angeles and to start a mobile business, that Bluebird was soon transformed into asuperbly renovated, traveling storefront.

Fast forward to what is now a burgeoning boutique and community cornerstone. Inspired by the rich history of Southern California design and culture, Beautiful Things-LA supports independent designers and exposes customers all across the city to a unique and purposeful retail experience.
